A boring assignment brings local TV reporter Bridget Primavera face to face with the Cailleach — the primeval Celtic spirit of the killing frost — and Bridget’s world changes forever. In an instant, she is awakened to her own role and responsibility as the equally ancient, balancing spirit of Brighid, teacher of poets and physicians, guardian of the hearth, and warrior of the Tuatha De Danann … as if she needed one more thing to do.
