Are you a good conversationalist? Do you often speak in a public forum or shudder at the thought of giving a speech? Many of us fall somewhere in between.

It may seem strange but there are some folks who make great conversationalists but are rendered a mass of fright if asked to just say a few words at a wedding or other social event.

Then there are those of us who are shy and introverted. These tendencies can leave an otherwise gifted person feeling inadequate and never quite succeeding at more than just a mediocre career.

It doesn’t matter one bit how good a student we were or where we fall on the socio-economic scale, if we are unable to articulate our thoughts in a cohesive manner we just won’t be as successful as our potential indicates we could and should be.

Look around you. Today’s world is all about communication. If you can’t communicate optimally your chances for advancement economically and socially are just plain abysmal.
