Toni Chang Morgan’s dream of living in an exotic foreign country came true when she accompanied her husband on a scientific exchange to Japan. Her new neighbors took her on a three-day ski trip to Lake Biwa, where her ski instructor was a handsome athlete rumored to be an international playboy from a prominent Tokyo family. She and the ski instructor had nothing in common and constantly bickered. Eventually, she began to succumb to his charm. Could a happily married woman fall in love with another man? Or was this a middle-aged woman’s infatuation? Wealthy athlete, Kenji Nakamura, was accustomed to having anything his heart desired–except one particular married woman. Would his moral principles over-ride his Gatsby-esque belief in fate? Lake Biwa Wishes takes the reader from Japan to America and back to Japan.
