There have been five Baronetcies created for persons with the surname Kennedy, one in the Baronetage of Ireland, three in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia and one in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. One creation is extant as of 2010. The Kennedy Baronetcy (no territorial designation) was created in the Baronetage of Ireland on 25 January 1666 for Robert Kennedy. On the death of the fourth Baronet in 1710 the next heir was under attainder and the baronetcy consequently forfeited.
